Ideas for creating a Modern Living Room

Creating a modern living room is all about space and organisation, the key is to use the space to create order through proper organisation.

That obviously sounds incredibly complicated and impossible for the average individual but I can assure you one doesn't need to have the queer eye for the straight guy to be able to accomplish a modern living room area.

The secret to good organisation is good storage; no amount of space will ever be able to hide immense clutter, so remove excess and then arrange your furniture, furnishings and accessories in a balanced way to suit the structure and layout of the room.

I'm suggesting minimalistic to create that modern, straight line effect but I'm not suggesting skeletal. A living room needs to feel warm and inviting like a bedroom so the idea is to create enough of it but without placing a lot of furniture.
