This property is built in Calgary, Canada. The impressive wood and stone structure is home to a family of four.
This property features some unbelievable panoramic views of the surrounding Rocky Mountains and one can also see the city centre to the west.

This is clever design as it allows the family to spend even more time together where they can enjoy fresh air.
The stand out feature of this property has got to be the materials though; I mean just look how imposing they are but when you put it together like this it almost tells its own story.
The design makes great use of stone cladding on the main level which integrates superbly with the surrounding landscape bringing it into the interior making it a definite feature and part of the house. The top two floors are clad in stained wood and feature glazing and sun shading to support passive solar gain, natural lighting and ventilation.
